Recognizing her intellectual entry point, Mary immediately utilized her brother's tutor to surreptitiously purchase Euclid's Elements and Bonnycastle's Algebra, launching a highly strategic, self-directed night-study of advanced mathematics. This was a Strategic Project because it was a discrete, self-initiated intellectual intervention that bypassed societal blockades to establish her foundational mathematical competency.
